B'LAAN GUITAR,,,FAGLUNG IN B'LAAN LANGUAGE

Instrument from Pula Bato, Tampakan, South,Cotabato........ Among their several instrument is FAGLUNG. It is made of carve wood with two strings guitar like instrument and used to accompany with dance in a ceremonies or occasions. When celebrating occasions, the B'LAANS play these instrument and dance with song. The dance opens with playing of the two stringed guitar called FAGLUNG, that produces sound of music of the rhythm of the ancient. The sound of music played was originally composed by the B'LAAN tribe. B'LAANS are unique in their own ways and want to keep their culture alive.....PICTURES POSTED ARE MY GUITAR

B'LAAN MOTHER AND CHILD Family is the basic unit of B'laan society of Pulabato, Tampakan,South,Cotabato. A men can have as many wives as he can afford, provided he pays the sunggod or dowry to the father of the girl he wishes to marry. The first wife is considered superior to the others. B'laan woman generally sees her marital relationship as a form of duty, there is no open affection between husband and wife. Typical B'laan wife, once married, the husband is almost her slave master. The B'laan husband has a dislike for household chores. When traveling, the husband rides the horse and the woman walks and hold the child, or she carries the load on her back, while the man leisurely walks in front of her and

the child. The women works the field and is responsible for the entire household including food gathering for meals. She is expected to work hard for the dowry given by the man to her father. But husband and wife, however, equally carry the burden of child caring. The welfare of the children is usually more important than anything else above the needs of B'laan man and woman. LUM'ALAY FIESTIVAL 2015....MUNICIPALITY OF TAMPAKAN, S. COT.

The Tampakan Lum'Alay fiestival, is a yearly celebration in the 3rd week of June, as a commemoration of their 46th Foundation anniversary. Tampakan Lum'alay fiestival have different activities and programs. costumes parade, agri-trade fair, skaters and bikes show down, Mutya ng Tampakan, Street dancing, singing contest, live band and etc. Thousands of people flocked to the ground plaza of Tampakan for the activities and programs. All Barangays of the town participated in the costumes parade. The youth was engaged in different sport activities. Every year has been a traditional in the Municipality. I congratulate Honorable mayor Leonardo V. Escobill, and her very supportive wife Bebing Luz, for making the fiestival successful. More blessings for the success of the lum'alay fiestival. One of the costume I posted was from Barangay Maltana, Tampakan, South Cotabato. A traditional costume was wearing by the Barangay Chairman Dr. Cesar V. Ureta Jr., and his Barangay Kagawads. I LOVE PAINTING

Every painting is full of inner world, Each of my paintings bring different mood,colors and emotion, I love to express the beauty, harmony and spirit of this world on my paintings. My heart is completely open to art, thus, i enjoy creating, inspired, And beautiful paintings from the bottom of my soul. Each of my art works, reflects my feelings, sensibilities, passion and the music of my soul. True art is alive and inspired by humanity. I believe that art helps us to be free from aggression and depression. Art is an outlet for me, and away to be expressive and it's something I love doing. It helps me to create and motivated. It soothes me, it relaxes me, and emptiness my head of the worries of life. I love to create a picture. And since I'm realist, I love details and see if I can make it look and hug a feeling of being there in person. I love to paint, for mixing colors of slaps, which is challenged. painting like anything creative which involves the use of ones mind, and sometimes one soul, uplifts the soul and adds purpose tones of life. But in all life's endeavors, and work, courage and belief in oneself is the key....

Oh, so cute little red bugs, Brightly colored, red and black, Landed around to stay, Make the weeds away...... Fly, fly over here and there, Needs them in my garden, To help flowers grow, So never them hurt, Just let them go......
