. ..."KEY TO HAPPINESS"....

If you want to be happy, think positive and take a
break from your mobile phone, ipad, or internet.

The main external factor affecting a person's
happiness is the quality of their relationship,
at home, at work and in the community.  And
the main internal factor is their underlying mental
health.

It's recommendations on how to stay in high
spirits include advice to help others, excuse and
pursue goals and less obvious tips, such as
meditating, taking a break from the mobile phone
and internet and organizing a greet party.

     Government are becoming increasing concerned
with assessing national well-being using data outside
traditional economic measures to help mould policy.

To find new ways to measure economic progress
taking into account social well-being......

......"PROTECT YOUR CHILDREN FROM ABUSE"......

Children are valuable, have worth and are unique person.

This was the experiences of violence of the children....The violence really shocked; several were scolded in public, one was blamed for doing something of which the person was innocent;  Several were whipped with a belt, a horse whip and broom, some where asked to kneel for 30 minutes on salt or mongo beans, one was imprisoned in a pig pen, others were sent out of the house, one was hung with feet tied and head down, one was prevented from going to school, one was forced to harry at the age of 15, one was molested by an uncle. Children were very much angered and fearful by their experience .  They felt very humiliated and worthless.  One child says that the parents did not love her .  Other ask, why is this happening to me?
Some of the victim of abuse actually left home.  Other become silent.  Others avoided those who had hurt them.  One went to an uncle for protection.
Violence is at times inflected to discipline, and to prevent negative behavior.  But very few mentioned changes for the better.  Some was challenged to work hard to school.  But there were many harmful effects on victims, lower self-esteem, emotional scars and easy provocation to anger.  Some victim also maltreated children, repeating the cycle.  Others became rebellious.
In trying to picture the situation of children, it has been observed.  The young now have greater freedom of expression.  Parents are starting to be aware of children's rights and gender sensitivity.  More and more, the youth are involved in community problem solving and decision making.
What are the issues affecting children?  First, poverty that affects all aspects of their lives.  Then there is failure to protect them from abuse.  And there is the issue of providing them with opportunities to develop all their potentials.  Finally, the young are subjected to various ways of manipulations and rejection.
We should lead to a more "humane society" of supportive families and individuals who are healthy, happy, wholesome, and responsible.  The government is  committed to cutting the cycle of violence as early as possible for the protection of the children.....

...."TEENAGE KIDS NEED TO KNOW HARMFUL EFFECTS OF SMOKING"....

Our country remains a smoking hot spot.  It is the parents who are the last to know that their teenage kid is on the hook.  The number of male and female teenagers especially in the trendy places, bars or club and even in school, is on the rise.  Young kids often emulate teen idols they see smoking in movies, televisions and concerts.  They hang out of malls and act like grown ups, and curiosity or trying out something thrilling and new are the few reasons why they are lured early into the smoking habit.  Parents ought to lead by example.
children need to know the harmful effects of smoking from an early age.  The best thing a parent can do is to help the kids learn the facts and risks of smoking.  Help them and understand them.  Teenagers need something to substitute the desire for smoking---sports, maybe swimming, basketball, etc.  Never over react.  Just explain to your teenager what he needs to know about smoking.....
     * Smoking at an early age increases the risk of lung cancer.
     * Cigarette smokers cause of heart disease and stroke.
     * Someone who smokes a pack or more of cigarettes each day lives seven years less than someone
faster than non smokers.
     * Teens who smoke are three times more likely than non-smokers to use alcohol, 8 times more likely to use marijuana, and 22 times more.  Smoking is associated with other risky behaviors and violence such as fighting and even engaging in unprotected sex.
      * Teenage smokers are more likely to have seen a doctor or other health professionals for an emotional and psychological problem and complaints.
Parents should spend more quality time with their teenage kids in order to gave them love and guidance through their adolescent years.
The government should never stop the war against smoking and lawmakers should work on creating a good tobacco control program.....
