....Who is Cupid by the way?......


     Cupid is known as the God of love.  He is the son of Mercury, messenger of Gods and Venus, Goddess of love and beauty.  The name Cupid comes from the Latin word "Cupido"  meaning Desire, as well as his Greek equivalent Eros, which means "sexual desire".
      As he always played a role in the celebrations of heart and love, this young lad is also most famous valentines symbol.  Cupid is usually depicted as the mischievous, winged young boy, whose arrows upon piercing the hearts of his victims would cause them to fall madly, deeply in love.
     Legend tells the story of Cupid and his lonely, mortal maiden, Psyche.  Venus was envious of her beauty that the ordered his son Cupid to punish her.  But instead, the young man tell deeply in love with Psyche and took her as his wife.  But as a mortal being, Psyche was not allowed to took at them.  Curiously got into Psyche one night and she at a lamp planning to get a glimpse of his love one Cupid.  But then a drop of hot oil felt on Cupid's shoulder that awakened him and caused him to fly away as her punishment.  Psyche depressed, searched for and wide for her lover, found herself as Venus slave, and was treated with most malice by the goddess.  Wishing to destroy the moral, Venus gave her heavy tasks, each harder and more treacherous than the previous one. Lastly, she was tasked to take the little box to the under world to get some beauty of Proserpine, queen of the realms of death.  She was warned not to open the box.  But like any other mortal, she was tempted to open it.  She lifted the lid and instead of finding beauty, she discovered a deadly close of sheep.
      As Cupid has found her unconscious on the ground, he gathered all the sheep from her body and placed it back in the box.  Cupid forgave her as well as his mother,Venus.  She eventually became an immortal.  Psyche was then made a goodness.
      Today, Cupid is most popular of the love signs, and is usually represented by two hearts pierced by Cupid's arrows.

     Let's pray for Pres. Noy Aquino 111, for his birthday as he turns 51, this February 8, 2011, that our country will be blessed by his leadership and
he will be granted his leadership and he will be granted the wisdom to lead us in the next five years.
    The country's first bachelor, will have no respite in his birthday and will likely continue with his work just like any ordinary day.  The President has plenty of works to do on his birthday.
      President Noy, the son of  late President Corazon Aquino, has retained his popularity due to the integrity.

      Everyone of belongs to a family.

Mary and Joseph.  We can emulate their example
into our own family.
      Filipino families are known to have a
close relationship with their family including
the extended members.  It can be challenging at
times but we marriage to stay close because of love.

     A lasting marriage does not always signal a happy marriage.  Plenty of miserable couples have stayed together for children, religion or other practical reasons.
     But for many couples, it's just not enough to stay together.  They wants relationship that is meaningful and satisfying.   In short, they want a sustainable marriage.  The things that make a marriage last have more to do with communication skills, mental health, social support, stress-those are the things that allow it to last or not.  But those thing don't necessary make it meaningful or enjoyable or sustaining to the individual.
     The notion that the best marriage are those that bring satisfaction to the individual may seem counter intuitive.  In modern relationship, people want partners who make their lives more interesting.  People bored in their marriage were more likely to choose the more separate circle.  Partners involved in novel and interesting expenses together were more likely to pick one of the overlapping circles and less likely to report boredom.  People have a fundamental motivation to improve the self and add to who they are as a person.  If your partner is helping you become a better person, you become happier and more satisfied in the relationship.

"Picture Yourself with your Heart Desire"

     First, imagine something that you really want.  It would be money, health, a particularly job, a partner, a vacation, happiness, or anything else.  Imagine yourself with your desire, chose your eyes and really get the picture of yourself with your desire.
      Pay attention to what you see about yourself  in your imagined picture. notice how you are talking. Notice how you are moving.  Notice how you are working.  Notice how you are acting.  Notice how you are feeling.  Look at everything about yourself in your imagined picture, but in particular, notice how happy you are!  Capture everything detail that you can and open your eyes.
      Understand that the picture you just imagined of yourself with your exists already.  You know it exists because if it didn't exist now could you tune into it?  How could you see it in your imagination?  When you imagined yourself, you were looking at the actual real version of you with your desire!  
      To help you become more and more like the person in your imagination, practice closing your eyes and seeing yourself in the imagined picture with your desire as many times as you want.  Seeing the imagined picture of yourself will continuously remind you how you need to be feel, and act.  Then come out of your imagination and go about your day doing your best to act and feel like the person.  Now, you will be amazed at how little copying it takes before you see the evidence that your desire is coming.
      This is one of the most powerful process you can ever do to make your desires appear with lightning speed.  This process is based in the physics of the universe.  Use it!  Practice it!    You
have the power to your life, every force in the universe will do anything for you, but you have to use the power that you have.....

     Whether you realize it or not you bring everything to go through the power of your imagination.  The power of imagination is not something you have to acquire you have it already!  You think in images even if you are'nt aware that you do, and you use imagination or imagining every single day of your life.  When you think about the past, you are imagining.  When you think about the future you are imagining.  And as you imagine and concentrate on anything with feeling, you are bringing it to you. 

      When you worry about something, you are using your emmense power of imagination negatively.  You are bringing it to you.  When you are excited about something you are using your power of imagination positively.  Y ou are imagining the best, and as you imagine the best you are bringing it to you.

     Using the power of your imagination is something that comes to you naturally, but I want you to understand something about your imagination that will change your life.  Whenever you can imagine already exists.  You simply can imagine anything unless it exists already, because when you imagine something, you are actually tuning into particular frequency and if that frequency did'nt exist in the universe, you would'nt be able to tune into.  When you imagine yourself with something you want, you are tuning into a real thing that already exists, and you are looking at the frequency of you with your desire.

      Chinese New Year, will be marking the occasion probably the most important  celebration of the Chinese calendar.
      The year of the Rabbit- a golden or metal Rabbit (the character for gold represents

metal among the five elements)-is the perfect time for healing and reconciliation, since the Rabbit is generally regarded as gentle and serene contended to stay in a quite grassy corner, happy nibbling away.  The year a head is thus, expected to take on this character and provide welcome respute from upheavals and drama of the past year.  This will be a year of negotiation rather than confrontation, communication rather conflict.

     The Rabbit tends to avoid conflict since it can leap over obstacles in its path and recover from calamities with resilience. The latter will be a very valuable characteristic.  This year espicially with regards to natural calameties since the state weather bureau has warned that country would experience a greater number of typhoons in 2011.  Many of which could be very strong and cause much damage.  The Rabbit is the fourth sign in the chinese astrogical chart.

     With the growing importance of Chinese as a world power and the popularity of all things chinese enthusiastically celebrate the Lunar new year, or the spring festival with rituals that may or may not have any historic traditional or psychic value.

      It is important for the whole family to gather around the new year eve dinner.  Have a full table, with a whole fish, a whole pork leg, noodles, glutinous rice cake,- the abiquitous tikoy, and yet have enough left over.
